There are many opportunites for you to visit and take part in activities at the Federal Courthouse.

Visit one of the Federal Courthouses in East Tennessee

Court proceedings occur daily, but if you have a group that would like to visit, you may complete an online form to schedule a classroom or civic group visit. The visit can include a tour of the courthouse, observing a court hearing, a presentation by one of our judges, a presentation by federal law enforcement and court personnel sharing an overview about their jobs, and much more.

Attend a Naturalization Ceremony

The Eastern District of Tennessee hosts several naturalization ceremonies throughout the year. Naturalization is the process by which U.S. citizenship is conferred upon a foreign citizen or national after he or she fulfills the requirements established by Congress in the Immigration and Nationality Act.
